The Crow CHAMBEROOM Post Ranking System {PRankS} is something created to
make the experience of using the CHAMBEROOM more fun. The basic concept is,
as you make posts at the message board, you are automatically given new "title ranks".
These titles appear in yellow text beneath your user name in every post.
PRankS is based on The Crow graphic novel by J. O'Barr; as your number of posts
increase, you make your way through the pages of the comic, experiencing the same events
as Eric does in the story.
For example: When you first start the game...you are a Dead Soul. You have just
been murdered by T-Bird's gang and are floating in limbo, your soul unable to rest. This state
is quickly altered, however...after 25 posts your title is automatically changed to Resurrected.
Eventually, you will work your way through your mission, killing off all those that were involved in your
death and the brutal death of your love, Shelly.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL: There is a prize waiting for you at the end
of this challenge. Once you have made it to the title of * SOULS REUNITED
* there are just two more steps in the Post Ranking System. Once you
reach 2300 posts, you get to select your
own custom title that will be yours forever... and you can request
changes to it anytime you would like. If you make it to the final part
of the PRankS journey (2700 posts)...your name will appear on The
Crow Immortals section of this site...setting you apart from any
mere Crow enthusiast and giving you access to the CHAMBEROOM's private
forum called The Castle of Forever :)
